Modern cars are not really my favourites but I always have had a weakness for Aston Martins. Nice model and original paint, which finally is a departure from the all too present green. Congratulations!
Green for british cars (Jaguar, Aston Martin), red for the italians(Ferrari, Alfa Romeo), blue for de french cars (Renault, Talbot, Bugatti),...All the people identify these cars with these colours.
Classic cars are almost always painted in their colours in old races.
But when there is a car painted in a colour different, I like it.
I agree with you: because some colours are linked so closely to some brands, in my opinion it's nice to see something different from time to time. As of me, I really enjoy Alpine A110s of any other colour than blue - it's just so rare!
